Sport Relief 2014, Year 9
This year, Sport Relief runs from Friday 21st – Sunday 23rd of March, so the Year 9’s planned their charity week from the 17th Monday – 21st Friday March.
The year thought up some fantastic ideas for fundraising, fully engaging with the sports themed charity. Some of the events that took place were a raffle, and a sports related news quiz which Mr Nash’s Form of year 10’s won, with their sports motto ‘Never Fear, Webber is Here’. The dodgeball tournament between years 3-6 was won by the boys.
The tournament between Years 7-9 was won by Year 8’s, and the final tournament between Years 10-13 was taken by the team mostly made up of Year 11’s, what happened Sixth Form!?

Years 3-6 also battled it out on the playing field with a game of tug of war, both sides put up a fierce fight with arms of steel; however, the girls thrashed the boys in the end! Well done ladies!

Well done! Each year also had a winner who ran the longest distance:
