“Designs Fit for a King”

Students are celebrating royal success after entering a competition to design Prince Georges 1st Birthday commemoration card. Launched by Fat Chilli cards, the national competition invited students of all ages to design a card for the Princes upcoming birthday on 22 July 2014.

Webber student Sophie Shrimpton was chosen as a runner up and received a prize of a £20 gift voucher as well as having the honour of her card being sent to the palace on a memory stick. It will be a keep sake for The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge for Prince George's special day. A spokesperson for Fat Chilli said “The design we felt reflected good British humour! We loved it!!!”

Each student received a professionally printed card of their design as a souvenir. Well done to all the students that entered and congratulations to Sophie.
