Talented Tesni Takes Silver in National Competition

A student from The Webber Independent School Milton Keynes has secured SILVER (second place) in the National ISA (Independent Schools Association) Schools Art Competition exhibited at The Autumn Head Teachers Conference held last month. Tesni Williams’ portrayal of “Childhood memories - chest of drawers” in the The Key Stage 5 3-Dimensional category, already secured her GOLD in the regional heats held back in October.

Here she received a second gong and was credited with a ‘Highly Commended’ for her exquisite piece ‘Grandmother’ in the Key Stage 5 Painting category.

Principal Sue Vig said, “We have some exceptionally talented artists in school who use their abilities as a fantastic way to portray their thoughts and emotions. We submitted a number of pieces so well done to all who took part. On this occasion our huge congratulations have to go to Tesni – it’s wonderful that the talents of such an inspiring young artist have been applauded on a national scale.”
