Theatre Visit: The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time

On the last afternoon of term, 26th March, a substantial group of Year 9 and 10 students saw an excellent stage adaptation production of Mark Haddon`s famous modern text The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time, at The Royal Derngate Theatre, Northampton.

The in depth story of Christopher Boone, a teenager at the extreme edge of Asperger`s Syndrome autism, was brought to life through excellent performances, the experience of which complemented Year 9`s full study of the text last half term and those of Year 10 who had undertaken the book as wider reading.

Some of the party (below with Mr Roper) showed their appreciation of the production immediately afterwards, on the steps of the theatre, photograph by Georgie Keech and Rochelle Dunne.
