8-2 Win for Webber Netball Dream Team

Our U14 netball champions continued their winning streak on Tuesday, beating Oakgrove 8-2. Once again our girls showed their determination and outstanding skills - remaining unbeaten this season.

The starting seven put us in a strong position with Sophie and Sam securing three goals in the first quarter. In the second quarter Alison and Sophie continued to put pressure on our opponents with another three goals.

Lily, Jaanvi and our new addition to the team, Lucie, made up a sterling defence and prevented Oakgrove from any opportunities in their attacking circle. Aaliya and Jaydie displayed excellent centre court passing and interceptions, which meant Webber regained possession and discontinued Oakgrove's advantages.

The final two quarters saw the Webber girls take us into a winning position securing another two goals, with Oakgrove achieving their first two goals of the match. Our champions maintained the lead, giving us a very strong win and final score of 8-2.

Well done to our committed and inspirational girls: Sophie, Sam, Jaydie, Aaliya, Lily, Alison, Jaanvi and Lucie.

We look forward to the next league game after half term.
